Unique Australian
The short-beaked echidna
is one of the cutest members of our Australian fauna and I used to see them often around Tupra during the mating season. I drew this montage which includes the young echidna or puggle especially for the Waterhouse Exhibition.
AWARDS: Highly Commended at the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize 2006. The drawing was sold at the exhibition. It did a tour of the eastern states for four months as part of the winning team
