"Enoplosus Armatus"
The common name for the extremely beautiful and graceful Enoplosus Armatus is "Old Wife". Old Wife refers to the unusual sound the Enoplosus Armatus makes as it grinds its teeth together when caught. It is said the name was given by early sailors because the sound reminded them of a grumbling old wife. Adult Enoplosus Armatus live in Australia's outer coral reefs. In some areas of the reef, due to loss of habitat, their numbers have become greatly reduced.
