Koalas in Care provide desperately important rescue and rehabilitation for injured koalas, mostly by road, but also during the devastating fire season in 2018. They need help to feed, grow food trees, provide veterinary care and medication to help koalas recover sufficiently to be rehabilitated into the wild and increase the population.
Background:
Our population has been decimated by drought, then massive fires, then floods, along with the unprecedented destruction of vital remaining habitat along the east coast of Australia. By supporting this cause we are helping to rescue and rehabilitate the wild koala population in our local region, as well as provide habitat on our own property.
