I large part of my conservation focus the last several years is bringing attention to animals killed on our roads, promoting the sharing on our homes with animal others, and being more aware on our highways. I have been documenting animals killed on our roads, and participating in a collaboration, Kindred Spirits: Honoring Animals in Death. This cause has a dedicated website sharing information about the exhibitions, and our goal is to have this exhibition travel worldwide. So far is has exhibited in Brooklyn NY, and will show in Tucson, AZ in April 2025. I have collected my own road-killed data that is incorporated in my artwork, and also will be volunterring with the Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection that is gathering data for best locations for wildlife crossings.
I have also created aluminum road signage to share with homeowners, Eyes on the Road, This is Our Home Too, to put up in their yards or neighborhoods to get people to pay attention on the highway.
Reduce the number of animals killed on our roads
Increase healthy co-existence with our animal kin
