Most of the chimps we see in television programs and some artwork are docile, playful infants and adolescents. Many people don't realize that chimps grow up to be quite large and much stronger than humans. An adult male, strong and aggressive as he may be, does not lack the ability to appreciate beauty in much the same way humans do.
