THRONE OF BLUE

Royal and elegance are words I would choose to describe this portrait.  He is a magnificent bull elk, and I purposely kept the background very simple to enhance his persona.  In the winter, he will eventually lose those incredible antlers, and spend time foraging for food and resting to conserve energy.  For now, he has discovered a high position on a hillside enabling him to see for a long distance.
