I had the good fortune of observing this pair of Mourning Doves on the railing of our side porch in Lively, Ontario. They were oblivious to my presence and I was able to get a photo of them through the living room window without disturbing them. I am always looking for non-standard poses for wildlife subjects and I felt this was a gift. I transposed the subjects to the branch of a birch tree to create a more natural setting
