Art competition for adults & children to raise funds and awareness for the Hikkswick Wildlife Sanctuary - postponed from 2020 to 2021 - details to be confirmed

Background:

Hillswick Wildlife Sanctuary are in the midst of rebuilding their sanctuary buildings and Visitor Centre. The local council, together with the Shetland Oil Industry and various other supportive foundations have provided a trust fund which enables the fabric of the buildings, and some fixtures, to be completely rebuilt to improve the animal care facilities, and to make more of a visitor experience. Once rebuilt by early 2021, we will need to raise funds separately for the movable fittings, furniture and equipment not covered by the funding already in place. I aim to raise funds from this art competition towards some of these fittings and items of equipment
