“So that was the way, no fair play, once down that was the end of you.” – Jack London

In the frozen landscape of a northern winter the cost can be high in the struggle to survive. Weakened by the battles of the rutting season, bull moose have a limited time to recover before the long, cold winter sets in. A family of wolves must kill to survive the harsh winter as well and working together as a team they are formidable adversaries. No Fair Play depicts the age old struggle for survival between North America’s largest ungulate and a family of Timber Wolves. The outcome is not certain as the moose is holding his own quite well. Even the loss of one member of the pack diminishes the effectiveness of the wolves chances of pulling down such a large prey animal or the continued survival of the pack as they rely on teamwork to manage in their harsh environment.
