Watching the Prairie Chickens come into the lek as the sun was rising is a wonderful way to start a day. Between their calls and displays and dancing and attacks you are overwhelmed. It is just marvelous. All around this lek where circular corn fields but the rancher had left this area for the Greater Prairie Chickens. I wish more had taken this approach.
