There was a thrill to hearing he Piping Plovers had decided to again nest on a beach area they had not been seen in for years. Not everyone appreciated this welcome event and those who wanted a neat tidy beach or want to let their dogs run free opposed the restricted area. The guardians of the beach had their hands full. The local poiticiand must have had their heads in the sand but a few major fines and these beautiful little birds had a slight better chance at survinving.
