There is a beauty in the dying fall vegetation and I decided to paint the owl just entering the frame, just over the top of the weeds. The fall vegetation gave a warmth to this hunter. By cropping the bird, its eyes became the focus. This painting was accepted into the juried show......Paint Ontario...and sold.
