The swinging doors became a magnet for patients to go into the rest of the facilities. There was constant congestion with wheel chairs and others trying the door or sliding out when a cart came in. To avoid this, they asked me to disguise the doors. The theme in the whole complex was RR so the doors had to fulfill this criteria. There use to be a park in the 50-60's in front of one of the old stations so the one B & W photo I found became the theme for the doors.
