This is an earlier painting of cranes seen during the winter near Long Point On. It was sold after being accepted for the AFC show and the new owner allowed it to removed from his place untill the shows were over. The cranes tended to stay in the middle of the huge field but every once in awhile two or more would fly in to land and be a bit closer.
