We were on out way back down the river to the lodge before darkness set in when we saw the group of Proboscis monkeys. We got the driver to stop as we watched for awhile.I could see the mother had a baby in her arms, but barely make it out. We waited awhile longer and finally with the last raise of the sun on them the young one sat slightly apart from its mom and she gently touched its head. This photo was entered into the WPY and got to the second round of judging.(over 48000 in first round down to about 4000 in second)
