Conservation

"Locally I support the DU banquets in the area. I donate to their fund raising banquet as it support the preservation of some important wetlands in this part of the province such as a 307 acre (124 hectare) Wildlife Management Area located near the Hamlet of Calton. This year I also donated to the women's group..Longpoint Ladies DU. "

 DU does a great job at preserving wetlands.

 Internationally we contribute to the INTERNATIONAL CONSERVATION FUND OF CANADA. This group is Canada's only global conservation charity. There are numerous projects you can specify for your donation . We tend to look at aquiring habitat or protecting reserves from mining and logging as high priority.

Examples:     With  ICFC and others(Fundación Jocotoco) a key property was acquired in 2014 to enlarge Buenaventura reserve.
