This Male Snowy Owl is a companion piece to "Regal Snowy Owl".  Both birds were permanently captive at the Birds Of Prey Centre in Coaldale, Alberta, (my most favored conservation organization).    Unfortunately, both birds perished from West Nile Virus after I had completed the paintings.
