This original was created using a technique called Pointillism where the image is created literally one dot at a time using a technical pen. Young cubs are vulnerable to predation, but the males may someday weigh over 400 lbs. I have spent many a day watching and sketching them over the years while visiting Africa. This young one will one day be responsible for protecting his own pride. This piece was created as part of a series to raise awareness and support Lion Conservation.
