The Artist

"My art is a reflection of my passion for people, nature, and all things wild. As an Artist active in conservation it's as important for me to be in the field as it is in my studio. My desire to study the indigenous cultures and wildlife that inspire my work has led to adventurous travel across 6 continents and over 45 countries. I seek to celebrate their inherent beauty and give voice to their struggles to survive. "

As an Artist, Becci's explorations provide a wealth of knowledge and inspiration for her work. Her intimate images represent the close encounters she has with her subjects and are created with Pen & Ink. Favoring a technique called Pointillism, also known as Stippling, her originals involve creating images on paper literally one dot at a time. The details require thousands of points and take weeks to complete. Her subjects include indigenous cultures and the wildlife she encounters around the world.
