"Bobcats are solitary by nature, spending much of their lives roaming and hunting.  When they are driven to mate though their nature changes completely and they become very protective and close to their mate, showing another side to their usually aggressive nature - this dramatic change and the relationship that grows between them drew me to paint this pair."
