World Giraffe Day celebrates the longest-necked animal in the world on June 21 - the longest day or night of the year. World Giraffe Day 2021 is dedicated to Saving the last West African Giraffe! There are only about 600 West African giraffe left in the world and all of these live in Niger, on of the world’s poorest countries.
