Douglass Leigh Lockyer is a passionate conservationist, who contributes a significant part of the proceeds from each sale of wildlife art to either Artists For Conservation, or to one of the reputable wildlife conservancies, funds or trusts, which operate in Kenya. He typically donates 50% of each wildlife painting sale to one of the following Kenyan trusts and conservancies:

Douglass is a Kiwi, currently living in New York, having recently returned from living on and off for seven years in Nairobi, Kenya. He is a wildlife artist, graphic designer, and an all around creative entrepreneur. He has recently committed paintings to two Kenyan conservancies: the Kenya Bird of Prey Trust in Naivasha, which rescues raptors and Ol Pejeta, which runs the Sweetwaters Park for Northern White Rhino and the Chimpanzee sanctuary.
