Bobbie's professional career has spanned over 30 years focusing on leading acrylic art classes and workshops. Bobbie concentrates on wildlife, and it is the appreciation of nature's simple beauty that ignites new works of art. Each painting evolves and is inspired by the rural lifestyle she enjoys. It is a daily occurrence for her to witness eagles and osprey soaring above the tree tops. Squirrels and chipmunks scampering along the rockery in her yard while deer, moose and fox pass through a she tours the gardens to see the newest blossoms open to the sunshine.
"As a wildlife artist I feel it is important work to continue bringing awareness to the public of how sacred our lands and wildlife are to our own existence. As a wildlife artist I am constantly intrigued by the nature of things. I study their expression of freedom, sense of survival and habitats. My paintings evolve through my everyday lifestyle and exploring the beauty that surrounds me in B.C.'s Cariboo region. Through the Artists for Conservation Foundation I would like to help bring awareness to the public of how sacred our lands and wildlife are to our own existence."
