Singchung Bugun Village Community Reserve

The artwork below represents artwork where the artist has voluntarily committed to donate a portion from the sale of the artwork to this conservation cause.

Our team are the proud stewards and protectors of the Singchung Bugun Village Community Reserve. One of the world's rarest birds the Bugun Liocichla which is so far known only from our forests has been named after the Bugun tribe.

​Shergaon Forest Division administers the forest resources of Rupa – Shergaon – Kalaktang region in West Kameng District of the State of Arunachal Pradesh in between latitudes 27 degrees North and 27 degrees 15 minutes North and longitudes 92 degrees East and 92 degrees 30 minutes East. The total geographical area of the division is 869.50 square kilometers. The entire area comes under Unclassed State Forests (USF).
