Banksia Banquet (2016)

Late winter and through the summer months, yellow-tailed black cockatoos can often be seen feeding on the ripening banksia pods in the trees along the coast foreshore. This particular pair are regulars in my own garden banksias and over the years they have become reasonably tolerant of my presence and at times have allowed me to approach quite closely.
