The Story Teller (2016)

$845 USD
The Story Teller-A young raven receives directions from the ancients. An iconic Ojibwa pictograph found high on a granite cliff above Hegman Lake in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness points the way for ancient travelers. This prehistoric red ochre art representing a human, moose, dog or perhaps wolf along with other elements is believed to refer to constellations which guided hunters on winter travels. This stunning legacy stands the test of time, and is protected for all to ponder in this great watery wilderness. Wilderness designation provides a critical protective mantel to ensure this important art and sacred place is preserved for all future generations.
