Ray of Light (2017)

$3000 USD
A single ray of light hits the howling wolf, illuminating its white breath. The glimmer of white mist represents the powerful force of life lived in nature. The mediums are acrylic colors, a watercolor canvas, an air brush and a paint brush. After using a paint brush for the hair, I use an air brush to make it soft. The eyes of the animal are the most important part in my work. Drawing the sparkle of an eye is a tense moment, because it feels like breathing life into the canvas.
