River Wild (2014)

It is estimated that as few as 3,000 tigers remain in the wild. My charitable foundation has raised funds to buy equipment for Project Tiger rangers working in the field in India's National Parks to protect these beautiful big cats. While working with the Project Tiger rangers in Ranthambore National Park, I was able to observe and sketch this Bengal Tiger, cooling off in the water. Tigers are one of the few cats which actually enjoy swimming. Images of the paintings I completed following my expeditions have been distributed to schools in Indian villages as part of education packs to help teach future generations about the importance of preserving their unique wildlife.
