Fan Dancing (2013)

There was a time when wild turkeys were pushed to near extinction by hunters, early settlers and habitat loss. This handsome bird is quite abundant today because of aggressive trapping methods, intense breeding programs and restocking efforts during the mid-20th century by state wildlife agencies. It can now be found in all of the lower 48 states, Hawaii, Mexico and southern Canada. Because of this astounding recovery, the wild turkey is a perfect example of what can be achieved when we join forces and work toward a common goal.
