AFC Conservation Artist of the Month for August, 2005

Craig Roberts specialises in African Wildlife working in acrylic on gesso-primed board. Regular trips to East Africa are the main source of Craig's reference material. A recent trip to Tanzania , Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater provided Craig with stunning photographs and imagery for future paintings. Craig exhibited an original painting of a Kudu at the Mall Galleries, London in the Not the Turner Prize competition 2003. Craig was also invited to collaborate with the Born Free Foundation and is donating a proportion of profits from sales of his latest prints to help benefit the Foundation's conservation efforts worldwide.
