Sold - Bateman’s “Deep Wolves” Painting Commemorating 1st AFC Festival

Vancouver,  BC - (May 3, 2012) – Robert Bateman, world-renowned nature artist, Deep Wolves painting created specifically to commemorate the first annual Artists for Conservation Festival last November has been sold. Large portion of the proceeds have been donated to support Artists for Conservation programs. 

Robert Bateman unveiled his new 24" x 48" oil on canvas original at AFC’s 2012 Gala Fundraising event on November 4 and again at the AFC Festival Opening on November 5. The painting depicts a Pacific North-western alpine winter scene with snow-laden trees and a pack of wolves in the background.

“We’re extremely grateful for Mr. Bateman’s generous support, particularly during a critical time when we are attempting to grow Artists for Conservation programming in conservation and environmental education to reach a broader audience. We are also thrilled to have Mr. Bateman return again this year to be a part of the 2012 AFC Festival. 

Special "conservation edition" prints of 100 signed and numbered limited edition prints on archival paper are available online for purchase. The dimensions are 14" x 28". 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the Conservation Edition prints go to Artists For Conservation. They are available for $225 (plus tax/shipping) each.
