New book on en Plein Air painting by Deborah Chapin

Recent new member of the WWNAG, Deborah Chapin, has just published a 77 page full-color, hand-bound, soft-cover book entitled: "Capturing Life and Movement en Plein Air".

This book is not only a useful tool for artists of all capabilities but collectors as well. Written from an insider's perspective many of the mysteries of plein air painting are revealed and can be used to understand what you see. The book highlights her thoughts on the subject that have been accumulated over 20 years of painting on site.

The seven chapters of book describe everything from the planning process for a field trip to the artistic considerations for various subjects, along with advice to students and even suggested readings.

The book is available in limited numbers on a first come first serve basis from Deborah. The contact information can been seen on her site. The cost is $17 plus $3.55 shipping.
