David N. Kitler among artists selected for prestigious LEIGH YAWKEY

In its 26th year, Birds in Art is one of the most prestigious show in the world for bird art. David Kitler, a member of the World Wide Nature Artists Group, feels greatly honoured that his "Brazilian Blue & Gold" piece has been selected to be a part of this year's exhibition. David's paintings are like pages in a journal, and this piece is a typical example. His selected artwork follows from a recent trip to South America, David wanted to capture the textures, the colours, and the warmth he observed everywhere.

The Birds in Art exhibition runs from September 8 to November 14, 2001 at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wasau, Wisconsin. After that, most of the pieces are included in a national tour until November 2002. . For more
