Linda Besse Recognized

Linda Besse continues to be recognized for her high calibre artwork with her recent acceptance of her work "Bobwhite Quintet" to the 2003 Birds in Art Exhibition at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum for the third consecutive year.
Linda is also honoured with being juried in recently as a member of the Society of Animal Artists. Linda has recently returned from another of her international travels acquiring information and inspiration in Belize and Honduras.
It is interesting to see many WNAG members recognized for their artistic accomplishments in a number of fora.

2004 Classic Muskie Calendar Published by Charles Weiss

The 2004 Calendar is the third calendar by Art on the Waters Edge to feature 12 full color Muskie fish paintings by Charles Weiss. It is available directly from Charles for $26 Cdn. or $18 US.

Toronto Zoo gets Arnett Art donation

Fellow WNAG artist Stuart Arnett donates artwork 'Silence' to a great cause. Stuart encourages other fellow artist to donate a piece of art to the 16th Annual ZooDo silent auction to be held by the Toronto Zoo.

The Toronto Zoo Foundation is the funding arm of the Toronto Zoo. The foundation's mandate is to protect endangered species from extinction, to promote conservation, education, and research and to support the Zoo in its effort to provide over 14,000 animals from 462 species with a safe and healthy environment.

Susan Stolberger Publishes Her New Book

In Susan's new book "The Ruaha Sketch Book" she has managed to capture with her brush, delightful moments and very special thoughts of the everunfolding environment around her. This is a highly visual account captured with pencil sketches and water colours which depict the seasonal variations within the Ruaha National Park. This book is a tribute to one of Africa's last remaining wildernesses.

Dean Richards at International Exhibition on Animals in Art

International Exhibition on Animals in Art is the sixteenth annual exhibit sponsored by the School of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA.

Dean Richards, a member of the World Wide Nature Artists Group has been selected from over 700 submissions worldwide to be part of this years show and sale. His charcoal and graphite drawing entitled " Turkey Vulture " will be among 75 juried pieces on display.
