AFC Announces 2013 Exhibit Roster of Artists
2013/06/06 - Vancouver, BC., CANADA – June 6, 2013 - Artists for Conservation (AFC) is proud to announce the list of 2013 exhibiting AFC Signature Member artists accepted into the Artists for Conservation Exhibit - the world's top conservation-themed exhibit and sale, benefitting the conservation cause. This is AFC's 6th annual exhibit of members' artworks and third annual exhibit to open in Vancouver, BC.
AFC Launches Marine Conservation Program with Guy Harvey
2013/05/02 - Vancouver, B.C. CANADA - May 2, 2013 - Artists for Conservation Foundation (AFC), is excited to announce a partnership with Dr. Guy Harvey to establish a new marine conservation program. AFC's new "Explorer's" program will foster artistic and scientific collaboration in the field to drive awareness and education around marine conservation and marine life. It will also provide opportunities for AFC artist members to study marine species and their ecology in the field under the guidance and expertise of leading scientists.
2013/06/04 - Aleta Karstad and biologist husband will partner with the Nature Conservancy of Canada in a pilot project of Landscape Art & Science on two of its properties this spring and summer.
2013/06/04 - Pollyanna Pickering was pleased to be asked to contribute a story about her most memorable cup of tea to a brand new book! She chose a moment from her AFC flag expedition into Bhutan to feature in the charitable publication.
2013/02/24 - Cory Trepanier's Into The Arctic II  film has been sharing the spectacular Canadian Arctic, through his unique artistic journeys, on televisions across Canada and internationally, and on big screens in numerous cities.
