2010 Wildlife and Watercolor Workshop

Sandra Blair, SAA, AFC, BWS, is returning to Triple D Game Farm in Kalispell, MT to teach a 4-day painting workshop, November 11 - 14, 2010. The workshop will be held in conjunction with numerous photo sessions of Triple D Game Farm's magnificent animal models. Three of the mornings will begin at first light photographing the Triple D animals in spectacular natural-habitat settings. Hypatia-in-the-Woods selects Sandra Blair as Artist-in-Residence

Sandra Blair is pleased to announce she has been awarded a 4-week artist residency at Hypatia-in-the-Woods in Shelton, WA. Hypatia-in-the-Woods is a private retreat and study center for women in the arts to pursue their muse, undistracted by everyday demands. Located only 27 miles from Olympic National Park and within walking distance of Puget Sound, this residency offers an incredible opportunity to dedicate an uninterrupted block of time to painting; and to observe and photograph wildlife, birds and waterfowl in marsh, mountain, rain forest and ocean habitats.

Sandra Blair Featured in International Artist Magazine

Sandra Blair is featured in the April/May issue of International Artist magazine. The 8-page article talks about her lifelong desire to paint wildlife, the inspirations behind her paintings and the unique properties of watermedia. There is also a step-by-step demonstration of her painting, Night Moves.
