Rossin Awarded in Kirkland Show

Celebrating the 19th year of the International Miniature Art Show, the Parklane Gallery in Kirkland, Washington had an outstanding number of entries submitted for 2011.
Out of the many works submitted 357 were selected for exhibition. This year Linda Rossin entered four paintings with a wide variety of subjects, and it was another regional scene of the Snake River which won the award for 1st Place.

Linda Rossin gets Best in Show Award, Artistic Designs Gallery 4th Annual Miniature Fine Art Show, Indiana. Linda was thrilled when she found out she had won another Best in Show award, especially because the scene she depicted is specific to the region. 'I got the idea for this painting last minute and worked right up to the deadline. By burning the midnight oil I managed to finish 'Freshwater Dunes' on time. I am so very pleased I made this extra effort!'

Spanish Moss Miniature Art Show Best in Show Award for Rossin

The Alabama Miniature Art Society's Spanish Moss Juried Miniature Art Show of the SE recently presented its awards to the show winners. This is the first time Linda submitted works to this event and she's glad she did. All of her entries were accepted and she won the most coveted award for any artist - Best in Show!

The Little Picture Show and MASF Awards for Rossin

The award winners of the Miniature Art Society of Florida's 35th Annual International Fine Art Miniature Show have been selected. Linda is proud to announce that she has received several major awards in this event.

All five of Linda's entries have been accepted for inclusion in this show, and in addition she has won Excellence in All Entries for 2010. Along with this major award she also received First Place for Acrylics for her landscape painting titled After the Thaw.

Cider Painters of America, 25th International Miniature Show Award

"Hey Handsome" receives the Cider Painters of America Award for Best in Realism.

Three of Linda's fine art miniatures are featured in this annual event, which is currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary at the Vgogh Gallery in Kingston, PA. "Hey Handsome" was recognized with CPA's Award for Best in Realism.

The Cider Painters of America Annual Fine Art in Miniature Exhibit awards artwork in various categories and classes. Judges with a strong knowledge of miniature art are selected and these judges set the categories for awards as entries mandate.

Miniature Art Society of Florida / Award for Rossin

"Purrsian on Persian", a commissioned fine art miniature was awarded "Second Place" for Acrylic Painting in the 34th Annual MASF International Miniature Art Show. This event is considered to be the largest Traditional Miniature Art Event of its kind in the USA.

"Cruising" Receives First Place Honors at the Parklane Gallery's Annual Miniature Show

Each year the Parklane Gallery in Kirkland, Washington hosts an International Traditional Miniature Art Show which features approximately 600 works of art on average. Subjects vary from wildlife to still life, and all artwork, including the frame, is no larger than 35 square inches!

Linda also received the "Golden Colors Award" for her portrait painting of a chihuahua, "Tinkerbell".
