Canada's Brent Cooke Appointed 2015 Festival Patron

Vancouver, B.C. CANADA - July 6, 2015 - Brent Cooke, international award-winning bronze sculptor is supporting the 2015 AFC Festival as the official Festival Artist Patron. The 3-week event will bring out leading nature and wildlife artists from around the world, immersing visitors in art and nature through workshops, film, and a world's top conservation-themed art exhibit of 80 original paintings and sculptures. All artwork sales benefit conservation. Brent follows Pollyanna Pickering and Robert Bateman, who assumed the role for the first three years of the Festival.

New Campaign to Bring AFC To South Florida

Mark your calendars and join us in Florida this May. AFC is working with The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, BBX Capital Foundation and Nova Southeastern University  to help establish a new annual Artists for Conservation event in South Florida. The new festival will feature AFC's annual tour plus a selection of artwork by artists from AFC's Marine Explorer's Program. The event will also feature art and environmental education programming for youth and adults, lectures and films. A special teaser exhibit is tentatively scheduled for May 2014 (dates TBA).

AFC Festival Returns to Vancouver in 2014

The 4th annual AFC Festival will take place from September 26th through October 5th, at Grouse Mountain Resort in North Vancouver, BC. RE/MAX is returning as the title sponsor of the event.

Art, Nature & Conservation Celebration Returns with Robert Bateman

CANADA - July 9, 2013 - Robert Bateman, world-renowned nature artist is lending his support for a third time as Festival Patron of the Artists for Conservation Festival on Grouse Mountain, in North Vancouver, BC. He has created another new original painting for this year's event - a large graphite and canvas depiction of a lion, "Lion & Wildebeest Kill".

AFC Tours to Arizona

World-renowned museum to host the Art of Conservation

Vancouver, British Columbia – Artists for Conservation (AFC), the world’s leading group of artists supporting the environment announces on January 14th, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (ASDM) will officially host AFC's touring exhibit comprising most of the artwork from the live exhibit at Grouse Mountain, in November, 2011. Nearly 70 artworks will go on display to the public through March 11, 2012. A special opening reception is planned on January 14, which will include a special screening of AFC's first documenary film - "How an Artist Saved the Mountain Gorilla"
