AFC artist/biologist Chris Maynard shares insights on his philosophies techniques and unique medium of feathers TedX".

Chris was a presenter and exhibiting artist durign the 2014 AFC Festival at Grouse Mountain last year.

For those interested in learning more about Chris and his artwork, you may wish to get a signed copy of his book (now in second printing), "Feathers, Form and Function: what feathers are, how they work, and why we find them alluring" offers a quality tabletop book of his art with insight into how feathers grow, how they evolved, what they are made of, and what they do for the birds. He explores how feathers have given humans meaning for millennium.

Chris' work is featured in the 2015 AFC Exhibit and can be viewed on the AFC Virtual Exhibit website.
