Biography of Artist Rita Bechtold

Biography:

Rita Bechtold's fascination with animals joined with her artistic talents at a very young age. This was just a start in what was to become her life. Wildlife or domestic, it was all the same, pure energy and excitement drove her to excel in what she loved most, portraying animals and people in art.

Rita paints from her life's experiences. Raising horses, two sons and being close to nature has given Rita inspiration for her award winning art. Raising and training horses allowed her to be even closer to nature. Hours on the trails exposed her to animals in their natural habitats, fox and coyote families, deer, fawns and many other animals. Years of working with veterinarians made her realize how fragile life can be.
